Bottas' one-stop strategy rewards fifth

Malaysian Grand Prix – Williams driver Valtteri Bottas finished the Malaysian Grand Prix in fifth place after successfully managing his tyres on a one-stop strategy. The 27-year-old started the race in 11th place on a set of new medium tyres and pitted on lap 28.  After fitting the hard compound, the Finn was able to keep ahead of Sergio Perez’s Force India.
