Hamilton strikes back with Malaysian GP pole

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton took a dominant pole position on Saturday in qualifying for the Malaysian Grand Prix. Hamilton, who was quickest in Q1 and Q2, managed a 1 minute 32.850 second lap in the top-ten shootout to leave him 0.414secs up on team-mate, Nico Rosberg. It was Hamilton’s eighth pole of the season and the perfect response after a below-par performance in Singapore two weeks ago. More to follow. Full qualifying times available – HERE.
