Perez: 2017 deal has to be done by next weekend

Sergio Perez insists that his new Force India deal has to be sorted before next week’s Japanese GP, as his future plans would be made "quite difficult" otherwise. The Silverstone team has insisted for weeks that a contract is in place, but the subject has been complicated by the commercial arrangements that are attached to the Mexican driver. “No news at the moment,” Perez said on Thursday. “I know every weekend I keep saying this, but I really hope that by next weekend we will know.
