Fernando Alonso looking forward to close, high-speed racing in Malaysia

Fernando Alonso is interested to see how the cars cope at this weekend's Malaysian Grand Prix after organisers have recently resurfaced the track. The McLaren-Honda driver finished the Singapore Grand Prix in seventh, he made a good start and managed to avoid the incident with Carlos Sainz Jr and Nico Hulkenberg. This moved him up to fifth but was unable to keep the Scuderia Ferrari drivers behind him. There has been a few changes at the Sepang International Circuit, corners have been altered along with resurfacing the whole circuit.
