Mercedes conclude Pirelli 2017 wet weather tyre test
Pascal Wehrlein has completed the second wet weather tyre testing for Pirelli at the Circuit Paul Ricard for Mercedes AMG PETRONAS. The Mercedes- Benz protégé completed two days of testing next year's wider wet tyres. Taking the wheel of a mule car that was modified to simulate 2017 levels of downforce. After completing a total of 135 laps on Wednesday, Wehrlein added a further 135 laps on Thursday. This session completed by Mercedes was the second trial of next year's wet weather tyres. At the beginning of August, Scuderia Ferrari ran the tyres at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. With their 2016 drivers Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel taking the wheel of the modified 2015...
