Mercedes concludes Paul Ricard wet test

Two days of Pirelli wet weather 2017-size tyre testing have concluded at Paul Ricard, with Pascal Wehrlein at the wheel of a Mercedes mule car modified to simulate next year's downforce levels on both days. As was the case yesterday, the test concentrated exclusively on the wet weather tyres in 2017 sizes, with the German adding another 135 laps to the 135 he completed yesterday. The next test will feature Mercedes once again, and will see the German team run the latest generation Pirelli slick tyres from 12-13 October at the Montmelo circuit, Barcelona.
