Pirelli announces Malaysian GP tyre choices

Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli has announced the teams' tyre selections for the upcoming Malaysian Grand Prix. With the soft, the medium and the hard compounds available for the Sepang races, the selections among drivers are very similar. Championship contenders Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton have chosen seven sets of the softest compound, while the German will have one more set of mediums than the Briton, who will instead have more hard tyres are his disposal. Red Bull drivers Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo will have more sets of the two hardest compounds, having opted to pick six sets of softs.
