Raikkonen disappointed to lose podium spot

Singapore Grand Prix – Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen had been running in the top three in the second half of the race, before losing out to an aggressive strategy call from Mercedes. Raikkonen had started the race from P5, stalking Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton for the opening half of the race before a small mistake from Hamilton allowed Raikkonen a chance to get alongside and duel for the position. Raikkonen was able to squeeze past and set about pulling away, ending up six seconds ahead after the supposed final stops.
