No finger pointing from Hulkenberg after first lap Sainz collision
Singapore Grand Prix – Force India's Nico Hulkenberg refused to blame Carlos Sainz for the collision between the pair that led to Hulkenberg's immediate retirement from the race. Hulkenberg found himself spun into the wall as the field sprinted away from the starting grid, having been tagged while passing the Toro Rosso of Carlos Sainz. Having started from P8, Hulkenberg made a strong getaway but just passed too close to the right front wheel of Sainz, who was having to move across to avoid the slow starting Max Verstappen.
