On the limit Rosberg resists charge to regain lead

SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX – Race results Nico Rosberg has revealed his brakes were 'right on the edge' as he fought to resist the fast looming attentions of Daniel Ricciardo in the closing stages of the Singapore Grand Prix as victory under the floodlights gave his title hopes another major boost. Though Rosberg was never headed from lights-to-flag in the annual night race, he still had to endure a tense final few laps when main rival Ricciardo pitted with 12 laps remaining to fit super-soft tyres in an attempt to catch the Mercedes in the final stages.
