Hamilton: No repeat of '15 woes for 'completely different' Mercedes

Lewis Hamilton was in optimistic mood after Friday's running in the Singapore GP despite losing a big chunk of FP2 to a hydraulic issue. Hamilton was fourth in the first session and only seventh in the second, but he did enough to learn that the Mercedes package is much stronger than it was in 2016, when the team endured a nightmare weekend. "I don't think it's any more difficult for us than others, but the window in which we had our car set last year just didn't seem to work," said Hamilton.
