Verstappen on top in Singapore FP1 and Hamilton runs Halo

Max Verstappen set the initial pace for Red Bull Racing at Singapore's Marina Bay Street Circuit, whilst the two Mercedes cars could only manage fourth and fifth places.  The young Dutch Red Bull driver set a 1.45.823 as his fastest time on the ultra-soft tyres, and edged out his team-mate by 0.049s, and then came Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel who was four tenths further back. Mercedes set their fastest laps on the yellow marked soft tyre, whilst the rest of the field used the purple marked ultra-soft tyres.
