Singapore should suit Toro Rosso ‘a lot better’ - Kvyat

 XPB Images Daniil Kvyat is confident Toro Rosso will fare “a lot better” at this weekend’s Singapore Grand Prix than in the latest rounds of the Formula One championship. The Faenza-based team was a regular Q3 and top-10 contender up until the summer break but it is coming off a trio of scoreless races in Germany, Belgium, and Italy. Kvyat explains that Toro Rosso’s year-old Ferrari engine is starting to show its age, especially at power tracks like Spa and Monza, but the Russian believes the James Key-designed STR11 chassis remains competitive at tight and twisty venues like Marina Bay Circuit. “In theory this track should suit us quite a lot better because every time...
