Jenson Button could race in Japan's Super GT during year off

Jenson Button announced during the Monza weekend that he won't be racing in Formula 1 next season, but the Briton isn't giving up on competitive motorsport in 2017, hinting that he could be heading to Japan to take part in the Super GT Championship. The McLaren driver is set to take a year out next season, but could make a comeback in 2018 should the opportunity arise, therefore Button is keen to stay fit and race ready, and whilst he'll be taking part in more triathlons, motorsport isn't off the agenda completely.
