Toro Rosso's dream weekend

As Toro Rosso prepares to make its 200th Formula One appearance in Singapore this weekend, let’s look back at the Red Bull junior team’s sole grand prix win, which took place on this date eight years ago. At a rain-soaked Italian Grand Prix, Sebastian Vettel took a stunning pole position and followed it up with a masterclass in treacherous conditions to become the then youngest race winner ever. Since this dream weekend, Toro Rosso has established itself as a solid midfield team and valuable breeding ground to develop future Red Bull stars but the Faenza outfit has yet to pay the F1 rostrum another visit.
