Renault set to re-use Magnussen Spa engine

– Renault says that the power unit used by Kevin Magnussen when he crashed heavily in Belgium will return to action as the sport prepares to begin a sequence of 'flyaway' races this weekend.Magnussen suffered a high-speed impact when he lost control at Raidillon and slammed into the barriers, with his RS16 sustaining substantial damage.Renault brought a new chassis for Magnussen to run in Italy, but the outfit is confident that his power unit can be used once more."It's likely we'll run Kevin's Spa power unit on Friday in Singapore or Sepang," Renault Chief Technical Officer Bob Bell confirmed."It looks like there was no serious damage to it in the accident."Bell...
