Marko: Our clear objective is to beat Mercedes in 2017
It is no secret that most teams, although still in the thick of the 2016 Formula 1 season, have significant resources invested in developing their cars for next season – when a raft of new rules are set to kick in and possibly level the playing field – Red Bull, for one, are targeting top spot in the sport's pecking order once again. Marko said of the team's 2017 programme, 'We are on schedule. The numbers that the engineers are finding look very good… Of course the track will give the final answer. But as our clear objective is to beat Mercedes, next year the numbers better be good!' Despite the shift of focus in the Milton Keynes factory, the team are still on track...
