Italian Grand Prix driver ratings

Nico Rosberg was on the back foot heading into Sunday's race after failing to defeat main rival and teammate Lewis Hamilton's qualifying pace. A gap of nearly half a second would likely damage anyone's self confidence. However, the race itself was crucial and Rosberg pounced as Hamilton faltered at the start, taking the lead and driving 53 laps to claim victory with ease. 'I've really improved my starts since the summer break,' Rosberg stated to the media, perhaps a thinly-veined dig at his teammate. The only error on an otherwise perfect Sunday was a slightly lengthy pitstop which cost the German a second – little worry due to his substantial lead to the rest of the field....
