Marko wants to challenge Mercedes in 2007
Red Bull motorsport consultant Helmut Marko revealed their intentions of challenging Mercedes next season, with the technical regulation changes set for next year in mind. Following the move into the V6 power unit era, Red Bull couldn’t replicate their Championship winning form that they enjoyed between 2010 and 2013, racking up four Constructor titles in a row. Currently second on the Championship table this season, Marko claimed that the Austrian-based outfit have always managed to adapt swiftly to changes in regulation, which is an added advantage for them in their quest to topple the Silver Arrows.
