Marko rubbishes talk Gasly will replace Kvyat in Singapore

Red Bull motorsport advisor Helmut Marko has rubbished suggestions that Pierre Gasly could replace Daniil Kvyat at Toro Rosso imminently, following speculation there could be a switch as early as the Singapore Grand Prix. Gasly appeared on Spanish channel Movistar before the start of the Italian GP, claiming he had just been told by a Renault representative that he would be in action in Singapore. When asked what he had been discussing with the Renault figure, Gasly said: "Twenty minutes ago they told me "Yeah, you are going to drive in Singapore". Really? Let's hope it's true.
