Ferrari first to spend all engine tokens with Monza upgrade

Ferrari are the first team to use up all 32 of their allotted engine tokens with the latest update made available for Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen for the Italian Grand Prix. FIA confirmed that both Ferrariis have both been fitted with a new internal combustion engine, new turbocharger, new MGU-H, new control electronics and new energy store for Monza, the team's home track. Ferrari made the changes within their allocation for this season, thus no penalties have been accrued. The upgrade is also available to Haas drivers who run the 2016 spec engine, but Sauber – who run a similar unit – do not yet have the latest parts at their disposal.
