Raikkonen plays down Ferrari engine upgrade

Kimi Raikkonen says Ferrari's final engine upgrade of the 2016 season is only a 'small step' even if he insists it still represents another move in the right direction in the team's fight with Mercedes. Ferrari comes into its home Italian Grand Prix having spent the remainder of its engine development tokens in readiness for the high-speed Monza event, with Raikkonen ending the day fourth quickest behind the two Mercedes' and team-mate Sebastan Vettel. Ending up six tenths shy of pace setter Lewis Hamilton out front in FP2, Raikkonen wasn't so enthused with his afternoon performance before playing down the likelihood of significant gains using the upgraded power unit.
