Hamilton fights back to edge Rosberg – FP2 Report

Italian Grand Prix – Lewis Hamilton narrowly beat team-mate Nico Rosberg to free practice two honours by just two tenths of a second. Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton fought back to claim P1 in the second free practice session by registering a lap time of 1:22.801, which was marginally faster than the best time set earlier in the day. Hamilton was two tenths faster than Rosberg during the mid-session qualifying simulations, with the Ferrari pairing of Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen finishing third and fourth and giving the home ‘tifosi' crowd some optimism for the rest of the weekend.
