Verstappen given ‘gentle warning' by Whiting

FIA race director Charlie Whiting has spoken with Max Verstappen about his driving with Christian Horner billing it has a 'gentle warning' for the Dutchman. Verstappen angered the Ferrari drivers with his antics in last Sunday's Belgian Grand Prix, however, it is not the first time that his driving has been criticised. The Red Bull driver has vowed not to change his style but he may have to in the future after a warning from Whiting. 'Charlie was keen to show him a replay of Spa,' Red Bull boss Christian Horner told Sky Sports F1. 'It was a gentle warning to say 'that''ll be a black and white flag'. [It was] a bit of a warning.'
