More halo runs at Monza
Max Verstappen, Jenson Button and Sergio Perez will all trial Halo in Friday's opening practice at the Italian Grand Prix. Last time out at Spa, several teams ran the cockpit protection device, which is being evaluated ahead of its possible introduction in 2018. However, only Nico Rosberg in the Mercedes did any serious running, even setting his fastest lap of the session with Halo attached to his W07. This week it is Verstappen, Button and Perez who will run the device. It is remains to be seen, though, whether any of the three will do more than an installation lap or two.
