Sergio Perez hoping to confirm Formula 1 future by Singapore GP

Force India driver Sergio Perez hopes that he will announce his Formula 1 plans for 2017 by the Singapore Grand Prix in two weeks' time. Perez is currently in negotiations with his sponsors regarding a drive for 2017, amid speculation that he could be set to leave Force India for either Renault or Williams. Perez does have a contract with Force India for 2017, but it is understood to have an escape clause that would allow him to leave should his sponsors decide on a move to another team. After failing to secure a decision on his future over the summer as planned, Perez confirmed in Monza on Thursday that he hopes to be able to make an announcement before the next race in Singapore....
