Magnussen will need FIA clearance to race at Monza

 XPB Images Renault has revealed that Kevin Magnussen will have to go through an FIA procedure on Thursday to determine if he can race in the upcoming Italian Grand Prix following his heavy crash at Spa-Francorchamps last Sunday. The Dane suffered a 42G impact after going off at the crest of the fearsome Eau Rouge corner. Magnussen was taken to hospital for a series of precautionary checks that revealed a cut to his left ankle. The 23-year-old took to his social media channel to thank his fans for the support and announce that it will be ready for Monza.
