Hamilton wins first Driver of the Day after Spa comeback

Reigning Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton has been voted as the 'Driver of the Day' for the Belgian Grand Prix after his charge from 21st on the grid to third. The British driver, who started from the back row of the grid after engine penalties, came through the field to finish on the podium behind winner Nico Rosberg and Daniel Ricciardo. It marks Hamilton's first Driver of the Day award since the start of the season, and also the first time a Mercedes driver has won it. The 31-year-old becomes the eighth different winner of the fan vote after Ricciardo, Max Verstappen, Kimi Raikkonen, Sergio Perez, Kevin Magnussen, Daniil Kvyat and Romain Grosjean.
