Williams chases cure to software misfire glitch

Williams is chasing a cure to software issues that hampered its qualifying form for the Belgian Grand Prix. The Grove-based team had high hopes of a decent grid slot at Spa-Francorchamps, but found itself on the back foot after both Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas suffered misfires with their qualifying engine modes. The team suspects that the issue cost it around three tenths of a second per lap, which would have been enough for Bottas to slot in ahead of rivals Force India.
