Renault drivers pleased with ‘genuine progress'

Belgian Grand Prix – Renault's Kevin Magnussen and Jolyon Palmer were pleased with the performance improvements after they both managed to progress into the second part of qualifying. The Renault team managed to secure a double-Q2 appearance for the first time since the season-opening Australian Grand Prix, with Magunssen taking his best qualifying result of the season in 12th place, and Palmer equalling his personal best of 14th.
