Big struggle for Raikkonen

Kimi Raikkonen admitted that the Ferrari team needed to do its homework after a tough day of practice at the Belgian Grand Prix. Although the Finn took his turn at the top of the timesheets before finishing third overall behind the two Mercedes drivers in the morning session at Spa-Francorchamps, he faded to seventh in the afternoon as Ferrari attempted to work on longer tyre evaluations. Neither Ferrari driver posted a representative lap in qualifying trim either, but Raikkonen was clearly not happy with the state of play at the end of FP2.
