Mercedes used five tokens for Spa upgrade

– Mercedes has revealed that it used up five of its allocated engine development tokens on its Belgian Grand Prix upgrade, leaving it with six for the remainder of the 2016 season.Mercedes gave Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg new Internal Combustion Engine, Turbocharger, MGU-H and MGU-K elements at the start of the Spa-Francorchamps weekend.Only the Energy Store and Control Electronics were not updated.Hamilton is set to receive a 30-place grid penalty for Sunday's Grand Prix, having exceeded the permitted number of power unit elements, though Rosberg remains within his allocation.Mercedes' supplier teams have not yet taken on the upgraded unit.
