Belgian GP: 15-place grid penalty for Hamilton Nico Rosberg set fastest time in the opening practice session of the Belgian Grand Prix on Friday; the German was .730 of a second faster than second-place Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton, who will take a 15-place drop at the Belgian GP as they replaced both the turbo and MGU-H. The championship leader is running a new turbocharger and MGU-H this weekend, bringing his tally up to six for the season for both. The Brit will drop 15-places on the Belgian GP grid. 'The turbocharger used by Lewis Hamilton is the sixth new turbocharger for the 2015 Championship season and as this is not in conformity with Article 28.4a and 28.4b of the 2015 Formula...
