Hamilton to take grid penalty at Spa Francorchamps

Belgian Grand Prix – Lewis Hamilton has confirmed he is set to take a grid penalty for a change of power unit components at this weekend's race. Hamilton has had the threat of grid penalties looming over him since early on in the season, due to early failures of critical components in some non-race sessions. As a result, there has been speculation that Hamilton & Mercedes will opt to intentionally trigger penalties at tracks where it is easy to overtake, and Mercedes can exploit their superior pace more easily.
