Sainz Jr. another to trial halo on Friday

– Toro Rosso's Carlos Sainz Jr. has confirmed that he will also trial the 'halo' device during free practice for the Belgian Grand Prix, ahead of a planned introduction in 2018.Sainz Jr. will have the halo fitted to his STR11 for Friday's first session at Spa-Francorchamps, with Mercedes' Nico Rosberg and Force India's Nico Hülkenberg also planning to run it."As far as I know [it will be fitted for] the installation lap for the moment, and if I like it, and it doesn't upset the rear wing too much, maybe I could run it for a bit longer," Sainz Jr. said."I think it's the ideal track to check it out; in the end the visibility is tested, the pylon here through Eau Rouge...
