Rosberg set for Halo test in Belgian GP practice

Nico Rosberg is set to test the Halo during Friday free practice for the Belgian Grand Prix, Motorsport.com can reveal, as Mercedes becomes the latest team to trial the device. Although F1 teams voted before the summer break to delay the introduction of a cockpit head protection system until 2018, they also agreed to continue evaluation of the Halo concept this season. The FIA wants all teams to trial the system over the remainder of this year to get a better understanding of any potential problems, with Mercedes becoming the latest to confirm its intention to help deliver feedback.
