Pirelli reveals Italian GP tyre selections
Pirelli has revealed the tyre selections for each driver for the upcoming Italian Grand Prix. As expected, the selections are very similar among top teams, with Red Bull opting to take one fewer set of supersoft tyres (six) than rivals Ferrari and Mercedes (seven each). Mercedes duo Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg have chosen slightly different strategies, with the Briton opting to take five sets of softs to Rosberg's four, the German instead having two sets of mediums at his disposal. Haas will be the team with the most supersofts at Monza, having chosen nine sets of the softest compound.
