Rallying helped me on F1 comeback - Raikkonen

Kimi Raikkonen says his time rallying has proved helpful in improving him as a driver since returning to F1 in 2012. The Finn took two years away from F1 in 2010 and 2011, mainly focusing on rallying among other motorsport categories. He then returned with Lotus for a two-year spell before rejoining Ferrari, and Raikkonen says he had no major concerns over his competitiveness even though he'd only done one season with the aero regulations and not raced on Pirelli tyres before. “Obviously I had my doubts because I hadn’t driven for a few years in F1 but I also knew more or less how it’s going to be,” Raikkonen told F1i during an exclusive interview. “Every...
