Tost optimistic Toro Rosso could still finish fifth

Scuderia Toro Rosso boss Franz Tost reckons his team can still put up a fight for fifth in the Formula 1 constructors' standings, Conventional wisdom has suggested Toro Rosso will struggle more as the season goes on as its year-old Ferrari power unit becomes more and more outdated, with the team's highest-scoring driver Carlos Sainz expressing concerns after Germany. However, Tost believes the team, which currently lies sixth in the standings, can overcome the engine deficit and challenge Force India for fifth place.
