Marko: We’re holding onto Kvyat for 2017
Red Bull's motorsport consultant, Helmut Marko addressed the media, claiming the team are set to retain Daniil Kvyat for the 2017 Formula One season. The Russian driver made his debut in 2014 with Toro Rosso, and was promoted up to Red Bull Racing in 2015, however a drop in form meant the Russian driver was demoted back to Toro Rosso after his two high-profile crashed in April, this year. Since Kvyat was forced to partner Sainz at Toro Rosso, the Russian driver has failed to show his form, and was consistently beaten by his new team-mate, Carlos Sainz.
