Eric Boullier highlights positives in McLaren's season so far
McLaren racing director Eric Boullier says he is pleased with their season so far, highlighting a number of positives throughout the opening half of 2016. The Frenchman described recovering from Fernando Alonso's season-opening crash in Australia as their 'most amazing performance' so far as the Spaniard escaped unharmed whilst the team had to get a second chassis ready for the next race in such a short timeframe. He was also pleased with Stoffel Vandoorne's preparation to step up and race in Alonso's place.
