‘Toro Rosso bit more open since Max left'

Carlos Sainz reckons the Toro Rosso team have bonded in the wake of Max Verstappen's departure, saying everyone 'started working a bit more together.' Sainz and Verstappen were team-mates at Toro Rosso with the Dutchman gaining the upper hands in the results. That earned him a promotion to Red Bull Racing, while Daniil Kvyat returned to Toro Rosso as Sainz's new team-mate at this year's Spanish GP. The new partnership has been a good one for Sainz, who this time around is the leading points-scorer with 26 to the Russian driver's two.
