Manor sign Esteban Ocon to partner Pascal Wehrlein for remainder of 2016
The Manor F1 team have announced that following the termination of Rio Haryanto's contract, Esteban Ocon will partner Pascal Wehrlein for the remainder of the 2016 season. The 19-year-old, currently on loan to Renault from Mercedes in the role of reserve driver, will replace the outgoing Haryanto who failed to raise the necessary funds to secure his seat for the final nine races. Ocon has completed multiple practice outings for the Renault team this season alongside his DTM commitments and a test outing for the Mercedes team at Silverstone earlier this year.
