Manor terminates Haryanto deal, offers reserve role
anor Racing has announced that it has terminated Rio Haryanto's deal, after "he was unable to meet his contractual obligations", with the team offering him a reserve role for the rest of the season.Haryanto made his Formula 1 debut in 2016 with backing from the Indonesian government and state-owned oil company Pertamina, but his deal only took him up to the Hungarian Grand Prix.Haryanto was given a stay of execution to compete at the most recent round in Germany, but acknowledged that he had to secure funding across Formula 1's summer break.However, Manor announced on Wednesday that Haryanto's race contract has been terminated, with the Indonesian offered a reserve role in "a...
