Williams hints at Perez interest

Claire Williams says that Sergio Perez is a driver whom her team “would consider if he is available” for the 2017 Formula One season. Despite Force India team principal Vijay Mallya claiming that the Mexican is under contract with the Silverstone-based outfit for next season, Perez has fuelled speculation about his future by repeatedly refusing to confirm that such a deal was in place. Meanwhile, Williams is looking to shake up its driver line-up with Felipe Massa believed to be leaving the Grove-based team at the end of current campaign.
