Palmer frustrated after wasting start gains

– Renault driver Jolyon Palmer expressed his irritation as he failed to capitalise on an initially strong start at the German Grand Prix, and ultimately finished two laps down.Palmer, who lined up in 14th position, gained ground off the line, only to lock up heavily into Turn 2, before making contact with Williams' Felipe Massa at the hairpin.Palmer consequently had to pit at the end of the opening lap, compromising his strategy and leaving him down in 19th place at the finish, ahead only of Manor's Rio Haryanto."Everything was really positive coming into this event, and I had a good start," he said."I think I was 10th, so it's disappointing.
