Ecclestone's mother-in-law freed by police
– Formula 1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone's mother-in-law has been freed, without any ransom paid, after being kidnapped last month, according to police.Aparecida Schunck was kidnapped from her home in Interlagos on June 22, with criminals demanding a ransom of 120 million Brazilian Reals (around £28m).Elisabete Sato, head of the São Paulo police, told the BBC that two suspects were arrested in a major operation over the weekend, with Schunck uninjured.No ransom was paid out to the kidnappers.Schunck, 67, is the mother of Ecclestone's third wife, Fabiana Flosi, whom Ecclestone married in 2012, three years after meeting at the Brazilian Grand Prix.
