Hamilton 'proud' over Hockenheim triumph

Mercedes AMG Petronas Lewis Hamilton described himself as "proud" as he netted victory for Mercedes in front of the marque's home fans at the German Grand Prix. Hamilton started from the front row of the grid at Hockenheim but rocketed into the lead when the lights went out and controlled proceedings to rack up his sixth victory of the season. Hamilton's win increased his title advantage to 19 points, as Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg was able to collect only fourth place. "What a race," he said.
