Hamilton takes commanding win in Germany

German Grand Prix – Hamilton cruised to an uneventful win at the German Grand Prix and leap-frogged his teammate at the start to extend his lead in the championship standings. The two Red Bulls completed the podium with Ricciardo finishing ahead of young Dutchman Verstappen. Pole-sitter Rosberg finished in P4 with Ferrari not able to make any progress; Vettel finished in P5 with Raikkonen in P6.  This finish saw Red Bull jump ahead of them in the constructor’s standings. Force India driver Nico Hulkenburg has a quiet day in P7 whilst McLaren driver Jenson Button finished in P8.  Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez rounded out the top ten.
