Hamilton crushes opposition for German GP victory

Lewis Hamilton claimed his first victory under German soil since 2011, and it was smooth sailing for the British driver after he jumped his slow-starting team-mate as the lights went green.  Hamilton edged out Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo, who made a mid-race overtake on his team-mate, Max Verstappen. Rosberg's championship chances took a big crush after finishing in fourth place, and behind the two Red Bull drivers. It was another poor showing for the Ferrari drivers, with Vettel finishing in fifth, and Raikkonen in sixth slot, after they failed to take advantage of Rosberg's misfortunes.
